At its core, the rosin offers superb levels of grip (Grip Profile Rating: GPR#6) and good levels of attack, with the slightly softer consistency allowing a little more subtle articulation. Based on perhaps one of Francis Hider’s most respected historic Cello recipes, 6C rosin is genuinely pleasurable to play, and offers you a genuinely different tonal choice too. This Hidersine Rosin is made in England in the same way as always: An Artisanal process of hand-mixing and hand-pouring.
