Long considered the bongo player's bongo player (Bongocero), John "Dandy" Rodriguez is an icon of the Salsa scene. His association with LP goes back to the very founding of the company and he is truly part of LP's DNA. Dandy worked with LP's USA factory to create a two-cowbell set that achieved that elusive new sound he'd been looking for. This low pitched hand cowbell, constructed of a single piece of hot rolled steel, has lively overtones and is pitched to cut through any band.
