Sonor individual contra bass bar, pitch Bb; overtone-tuned rosewood bar with wood resonating chamber. The Sonor contra and sub-contra bass bars register in the octave below a bass xylophone, so they are a good substitute for timpani. Slight adjustments in tuning may be made by means of the adjustable black tuning plate that is under the bar. Price per individual bar. Mallets must be purchased separately.
